November and December are proving to be very
good months for Nottinghamshire FC.
Now that the three teams have settled into a
regular pattern of competing and working together, the results
have started to improve and confidence has soared as the
points have begun to roll in.

In League points that is 43 out of a possible
60, an extremely impressive return that is moving Notts'
teams into some high league positions.
The First team are on a run of five straight
wins and they are replicating the impressive run of form
they had last season which took them to the MAA Senior Cup
Final. They began the season at the bottom of the Premier
Division, but they are now turning heads as they motor up
the division.
The Reserves too have been equally as impressive,
and are on a six game winning streak at the time of going
to press which has taken them up to third place in the league.
What has been heartening has been that the side has suffered
injuries to several key players but they are still churning
out good results despite various
re-shuffles.
Scoring goals is coming very easily to the Reserves
at present, and if they can keep their defence tight at
the back, they could still possibly challenge for the top
two places in the new year.
The Threes have shown less impressive form,
but they are more than holding their own in Division Two
and if they can win on a more consistent basis, they too
will surely climb into a higher league position. The Threes
have shown that they can live with the best teams in the
league when they have the right attitude and there is no
reason for them not to think that they can't be as
successful as the other two teams currently are.
Let's all hope that Notts can continue
to build on this good form and carry it into 2002. Remember
all three teams are in the Quarter Finals of the MAA Cups
and are only TWO games away from cup finals.
Bring 'em on!!
