Match Report

A Game Of Two Halves

In the middle of the week our pitch had been declared unfit so we decided to play it at Lady Bay ground.

Everyone arrival early and put the nets up, we got changed and Colin did is talk. Colin opened with this statement "We owe thee, we should be in that final".

The game got kick off as Notts were playing against the wind. The game was a scrappy affair with chances coming from far or few between. One the of the best chances in the first half came to Marcus when the ball flew off Marcus' knee and the keep saved it at his near post.

The ref blew the whistle for half time. Colin was delighted that we hard not conceded a goal and we were playing positive football. So we went back on the field for the second half.

The game was very scrappy again but Notts had most of the play and Lady Bay was starting to get tired started to create chances with Darren Rose coming close with a head.

Soon after than Colin made a Sub and put Paul Atkinson for Paul Ruud, Atko made a sudden impact on the game and within five minutes had put Notts in front with a low drive that beat the keeper from inside the box.

Not much happen after that apart from Notts got three points from this match.
