One Better Than Last Year
Well, the usual suspects got fined again and we started
to walk around to pitch when Colin got stopped and Bob Norris
popped his head out of the car and gave Colin the shirts
that he promised him 5 months ago. Anyway when we got into
the changing room Colin told us the plan and we put on the
first team kit for the first time this season.
The Ref blew the whistle and the game started and within
ten minutes Notts had scored a cheeky goal. The ball was
crossed in by Dicko and before the keeper caught the ball
Marcus stuck out his size 12 boot and nudged it pass the
keeper for John to place ball in to the back which he did
1-0 Notts. Magdala was screwing saying that Marcus
kicked the ball out of the keeper's hands and before they
could get over that Notts had scored another.
Magdala kicked off and Marcus chased down the defender
who had the ball and nicked it off him. Marcus held the
ball up until support came which was Ruddy and Marcus laid
the ball to Ruddy who side footed the ball home into the
far corner 2-0 Notts.
Magdala kicked off again and again Notts applied pressure
and within 20 minutes Willo had made it 3-0 after
a nice through ball was put in from the midfield and Willo
simply placed it past the keeper, the ref blew for halftime.
Second half started and Notts carried on from the first
half and within ten minutes Richard Shaw had scored one
of the best this season has he glided pass one defender
and placed it passed the keeper 4-0 Notts and still
more to come.
Magdala kicked off again and Notts pressed again and Marcus
ran down the wing and cut inside to passed a simple ball
to Willo who placed it under the keeper 5-0 and just
to rub salt into the wounds Willo had to score his third
by skipping past four defenders and slamming it pass the
keeper 6-0 game over.
