After an impressive win over Forest Town Res.
Notts was on a high and still in the clouds for this game.
Colin got the team sorted with all the injuries that were
occurring around him.
The game kicked off and for about 20 minutes Notts was
on top and holding Ashland, but then a bizarre quick free
kick from Ashland that caught Notts defence flat footed
and there striker pounced on the thru ball and but the ball
in the back of the net, 1 nil to Ashland. Colin couldn't
believe it nor could the team and just before the end of
the first half Ashland scored again with another bizarre
goal. The ball rolled down the strikers shin and rolled
18 yards into the empty net 2-0 Ashland.
In the second half Notts got back on there game but couldn't
but the ball into the back of the net. The Ashland keeper
made two cracking saves as well.
