Another game, another three points for Notts as they stretched their 100% start to their first NSL season to eight games.
This was not to be a particularly good performance from the green and whites, but they did enough to secure all three points.
The home side began the better and their 3-5-2 system caused Notts a few problems and it wasn't until Notts were behind that they began to play. They drew level from an unlikely source, a corner being headed home by full back Steven O'Neill. Half time 1-1.
The second period saw Notts score twice more in the opening ten minutes through Rose and substitute Martin. A burst that effectively won the game.
Notts held on despite Bilborough missing a second half penalty. |
