Nottinghamshire FC's undefeated start to the season came to an end in spectacular style as they went down 4-1 to a young academy side.

Notts took the lead in the opening ten minutes from a Johnson header that looped over the keeper, but poor marking twice allowed Carlton strikers too much time and space and they put the visitors ahead at the break.

Notts had plenty of the ball and lots of chances, but they wasted good opportunities time and again and were punished for their wastefulness as the visitors registered twice more in the second period.
