Nottinghamshire FC's excellent start to life in the NSL continued on Saturday as they defeated Magdala Amateurs Reserves 3-1 at Grassington Road.
Notts played well in the opening 30 minutes and deservedly scored with goals by Rose, his seventh of the campaign, and McNeil, his second in two games.
Notts allowed the visitors back into the game as Reserve keeper Astle allowed a simple through ball to bounce at his feet and let Kinsella poke the ball home.
The second half was a more even affair with Notts defending well and continuing to look dangerous on the break.
The game was settled in the last couple of minutes as substitute Callum Martin was played in down the right hand channel and he slotted home his first goal of the season. |
