In a Bass Brewers League match, Chatham Town skipper, Phil Miles, was sent off for swearing..... at his mum.

The home side were awarded a free kick and Miles, who had verbally expressed his opinion on numerous incidents throughout the course of the game, felt it necessary to add his tuppence worth once again. Miles' mother, who was sitting in the stand, worried that her son would get himself booked,  shouted "Get on with the game".

Phil's response to his mum was swift and to the point

"Why don't you just watch the fucking game".

At which the referee dismissed him with a red card!
