We’ve all heard of Superman, Batman, The Incredible Hulk and all these other Superheroes that we see in comics or on TV and Films. Now it seems that Notts has its very own superhero NANGLEMAN

Pictures of this elusive superhero are difficult to obtain but we do know that by day he is a mild mannered, polite speaking, family man, but when problems need to be dealt with he finds the nearest phone booth and he transforms into an international crime fighter.

Evidence of his good deeds came during Notts Threes game against Brunts Old Boys when he turned up at the ground and was dispatched to get his kit to be a sub. He wasn’t seen again that day.

The reason? He had seen some kids breaking into a car nearby and had swiftly pulled his red underpants on, took his cloak out from his bag and turned into Nangleman. Those kids didn’t know what hit them and like any good crime fighter our superhero stayed around to help the law clean up afterwards.

“Take them away officer.”
