Top local Sunday side Jolly Farmers are still refusing to comment on an incident where a pig’s head was left in their dressing room.

“We have got nothing to say” said secretary Geoff Best, in the wake of the incident before a 3-2 extra time defeat against Bulwell Scots Grey at Hempshill Vale.

Nottinghamshire FA will not be taking action against Scots rey because no official complaint has been made.

Scots Grey say the prank was nothing to do with players or officials.

“One of our supporters must have left the pig’s head,” said secretary Steve Osbourne, who is a former professional boxer. “I saw the bag sitting there, but didn’t look in it. It could just as easily have been left in our dressing room. I don’t think the Jolly Farmers lads were too upset about it. It was just a joke. They came for a few drinks after the match.”
