Twins Nigel and Neil Buxton have made a welcome return to playing for Notts recently after a year or two break.

Their presence has utterly confused third team manager Bob Johnson who kept calling Nigel, Neil and vice versa - even after he had picked one of them for a league game!!

Not playing football for some time has had a profound effect on Nigel In a recent league game he was overheard shouting to goolkeeper Jez Hughes, "pick it upl" (the ball after a throw in). Someone had to carefully explain the rule changes to Nigel afterwards.

Mrs Buxton is certainly unhappy that her boys are back playing for Notts - she has had the second and third team kit to wash already this season!
